Retired NASCAR driver Tighe Scott and his son were arrested Wednesday on charges related to the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol.

Scott, 75, and his son Jarrett Carl Scott, 48, of Saylorsburg in Monroe County, were both charged with obstructing law enforcement during a civil disorder and assaulting, resisting or obstructing certain officers, both misdemeanors. They also face five misdemeanor charges, including disorderly or disruptive conduct.
