Obituary of Mary DiCioccio – Rocky Hill, CT

Mary K. DiCioccio, 75, of Brooksville, FL died peacefully on November 17, 2013. Born in Washington DC, Mary was born in Connecticut in 1969 and moved to Florida in 1998 with her husband David. She was a beautician and worked as a credit analyst at Garfinkel’s department store in Washington DC before becoming a housewife. Mary greatly enjoyed cooking for her family and friends, as her beloved mother-in-law Maria DiCioccio taught her when she married David. She also found great joy in crocheting blankets for her family and for hospice patients. She was a devoted and loving mother and wife who always supported her family. She was a long-time member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Rocky Hill, CT before moving to Florida and an active member of Easter Star while living in Washington, DC. She was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, David DiCioccio, her parents, Edward Melvin White and Ellen Georgeanna Doris Mathews White and her brother, Charles Melvin White. Survivors include her sons, Robert Cowling (daughter-in-law Kathleen) of Saginaw, MI, David A. DiCioccio (daughter-in-law Kim), her grandson Luciano DiCioccio of Windsor Locks, CT, and her daughter Lisa DiCioccio (Michael Totri) of Raymond, NH .
