Take a walking ghost tour of downtown Casper Wyoming

It’s not even October yet.

Too early for GHOSTS?

The Casper Theater Company hosts a walking ghost tour of Casper’s most haunted areas.

Join them on a ghost hunt from 28 to 29 June and 12 to 13 July from 8.45 pm.

Shea Ward will join you at the corner of 2nd and Durbin.

Just be a little early.

You’ll walk through the alleys of Casper’s downtown, stopping occasionally for stories told over the years by people who live and work downtown.

Tickets are now available via the ‘BUY TICKETS’ button on the right of this page. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 for walk-up. For more information, please call 307-267-7243. The tour lasts an hour and a half.

Tour of the Highland Cemetery

September 13-14, September 20-21. The host is Hubert Townsend. Tickets cost $25. More information available in August.

Yes, there are haunted “hotspots” downtown.

On June 8, 1888, John Merritt and C.W. Eads incorporated the town of Casper at the intersection of McKinley and A Streets.

The town has been around long enough to acquire a few good ghost stories.

Casper has haunted buildings and locations.

Lisa Lauderdale, a member of the Paranormal Research Society of Casper, claims to have documented mysterious activities at The Wonder Bar, including employees feeling pushed by unseen forces, footsteps upstairs when the building is empty, and glasses falling from the bar.

People have reported an old man behind the bar standing there, but a split second later he’s gone.

If you live in a town called CASPER, you will have ghosts.
