Cooler with more chance of showers

More showers are forecast this weekend, but also some sun.

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Showers are possible throughout the weekend in parts of Northeast Ohio.

The National Weather Service forecast calls for highs in the upper 60s on Friday, mid 70s on Saturday and around 70 on Sunday, with lows in the mid 50s each night. There is a chance of showers all day on Friday with a chance of a thunderstorm in the afternoon. Saturday will be mostly sunny all day with a moderate chance of showers and thunderstorms later in the night. There is a moderate chance of more rain during the day on Sunday, but the chance will decrease on Sunday night.

The Lake Erie Marine Forecast

A beach hazard statement remains in effect from 8pm Thursday evening until Saturday morning. There is a high risk of rip currents developing. In addition, a Small Craft Advisory remains in effect until 4 p.m. Saturday. Westerly winds of 10 to 20 knots and waves of 3 to 6 feet are expected.

Forecast of the working week

There is a slight chance of rain showers on Monday, with highs around 60 degrees. Things will clear up Tuesday as sunshine returns and highs are back in the low 70s. Highs could reach 80 on Wednesday.
