Obituary of Alfred Tincher – Mansfield, PA

Alfred A. Tincher, 85, of Coatesville; formerly of Royersford, died Friday at Coatesville Veterans Hospital.

Born in Brooklin, West Virginia, he was a son of the late Franklin Tincher and the late Willie May (Holly) Tincher.

Alfred was a machinist for Synthane Taylor for many years.

He served in the army during World War II.

Alfred was a member of the Electrical Workers Union #1448 and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.

He is survived by three sisters: Virginia Flint, Maryland, Letha Collingwood, Douglassville, Mary Buckland, Stowe; a sister-in-law Sandra Tincher, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Samuel Tincher, nephews John Flint, Jr., Joseph Buckland, Jr., and a niece Wanda Tincher-Thompkins.

The funeral service will take place at 10am on Friday from Limerick Garden of Memories, 44 Swamp Pike, Limerick. Officiating will be the Rev. Barry Moyer. Burial will take place in Limerick Garden of Memories. There will be no viewing.

Arrangements are under the care of Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory, located at 359 King St. in Pottstown, PA.
