D.C. police search for suspect in daylight stabbing incident

WASHINGTON, DC – DC Metro Police are asking for the public’s help to locate a suspect involved in a stabbing incident in Northeast. The attack happened at approximately 12:51 a.m. Wednesday in the 1100 block of 45th Street.

Responding Sixth District officers located an adult male victim suffering from stab wounds. He was immediately transported to a hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.

The suspect, caught on surveillance footage, is still on the run.

Police have released surveillance and video footage of the suspect, available here. They urge anyone with information to contact them at (202) 727-9099 or via the TEXT TIP LINE at 50411. A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the perpetrator.
