Severe Weather Outlook Late Friday afternoon through Friday evening | KLIN

Strong to severe thunderstorms will develop in northern Nebraska by mid-afternoon and spread across portions of eastern Nebraska and southwestern Iowa during the evening. The strongest storms could produce areas with significant damaging winds and hail, flash flooding and a chance of some brief tornadoes.

The best chance of severe weather is southwest of a line from Niobrara to Norfolk to Omaha to Clarinda… between 6:00 PM and 11:00 PM. The greatest potential for isolated flash flooding is generally along or just south of this line.
