Flood Watch for the Weber River

Higher temperatures in Utah are melting snow from the mountains and causing local rivers and streams to burst.

The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch for the Weber River near Oakley through Saturday afternoon.

Flood stage was reached during the night from Thursday to Friday.

Experts warn that the coming warm temperatures will further increase the melting of mountain snow.
