Alex Palou reminded everyone that he was fast at Road America, setting the fastest lap of the first practice session for the NTT IndyCar Series at Road America.

Romain Grosjean failed to set a timed lap after crashing on the first lap. Several cars, including Will Power and Scott Dixon, spent time leaving the track and onto the grass areas.

Nolan Siegel will pilot the No. 78 normally occupied by Agustin Canapino this weekend, following comments from Canapino’s fans and his response on social media. Siegel was the slowest driver with a timed lap.
