Badgers “really surprise” 2025 three-star DL Wilnerson Telemaque on OV

The Wisconsin Badgers hosted 2025 three-star defensive lineman Wilnerson Telemaque on an official visit this weekend as they made their final throw to one of their top targets on campus.

Telemaque, a Florida native, had an official visit to West Virginia last weekend, with her and Wisconsin being the favorites heading into the summer.

Expecting to make a commitment on June 18 after concluding his official visits, Telemaque came away from his trip to Madison surprised.

“Wisconsin really surprised and excited me,” Telemaque said after the visit.

Telemaque, recruited primarily by defensive line coach EJ Whitlow, was initially scheduled for an official visit next weekend but postponed it a week to travel to Madison earlier.

Now he has a visit to Georgia Tech next weekend ahead of his permanent commitment date.

The Badgers have yet to land a defensive lineman in their 2025 class, although they will take part in several visits next weekend, while last weekend they hosted top target Kade Pietrzak.

But they seem to be on an upward trend for Telemaque, especially after his official visit, with the hope of securing his commitment within two weeks.
