Olive Garden closes location near Willow Grove shopping center

The old Abington eatery has moved to a new location on Route 611, near the Pennsylvania Turnpike entrance.

EASTERN MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA —The old location of The Olive Garden in Abington Township, near the Willow Grove Park Mall, has closed.

The eatery known for its pasta dishes, breadsticks and salads has changed locations and moved to a new location on Route 611, near the entrance to the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Upper Moreland Township, just across the border from Horsham Township.


The building at 2402 Easton Rd. is located 6 miles from the closed site at 2328 W. Moreland Rd. It fills the space where the former Brick House Tavern & Tap operated.

In 2022, Upper Moreland Township approved the redevelopment of the Easton Road property.

The Olive Garden has another nearby location in Montgomery County in North Wales.
