Visas for digital nomads are in high demand and these countries are the best choice for working abroad

It is said that remote work is the future and so many people around the world are working this way and connecting with others.

Today, as many as 40 different countries offer such visas, and among the countries that offer the longest validity of all are New Mexico and El Salvador. But if you do need an extension, special permission is required to get that specific length of stay in that country.

Working and walking globally: where to look for a digital nomad visa?

Iceland sets the bar high with a minimum income requirement of $85,000 per individual per year, while Belize follows closely with a requirement of $75,000 per individual per year, making them among the countries with the highest minimum income requirements for digital nomads.

When it comes to which countries offer the longest lengths of stay, you’ll be happy to know that sunny countries Bermuda take the top spot, while the Bahamas, Italy and even Brazil come close in that regard.

Other countries like South Korea, Portugal, and even Spain offer shorter stays for employees, a year at most, but if you want to get an extension, that’s entirely possible as well. So what are you waiting for?
