Virginia Tech Football 2025 and 2026 Recruiting…

Our Virginia Tech Football recruiting series heads to the trenches as we dive into the offensive line. View all our other recruitment overviews via the links below.

After landing a smaller offensive class last cycle, Virginia Tech appears primed for a bigger class this cycle and is in a good position for a few of their targets. The Commonwealth of Virginia hasn’t always been known for its tremendous offensive talent, but this cycle has been pretty solid, with the next cycle being the strongest OL class in the state we’ve seen in a long time.

That said, let’s see where things stand for the Hokies with their offensive line recruitment.

2025:

Let’s start with 2025, where the Hokies have already secured one commitment and are in the hunt for several other offensive linemen.

The Hokies kicked off their 2025 offensive class early this year and secured a commitment from three-star OT Carter Stallard from Christiansburg, VA, in late January. The 6-foot-1 local standout was one of the Hokies’ top targets in the months leading up to his commitment, with Ron Crook doing a great job of completing his commitment quickly even as more and more offers came in from Louisville, West Virginia. , Maryland, Duke, Pittsburgh, Virginia and more.

If the Hokies have talent in their backyard like Stallard, they should close the deal and deliver on those commitments, with Tech making good on its promise and landing it. Landing him as the starter for their 2025 offensive line class was a strong way to start this cycle in the trenches.

He’ll be back on campus next weekend for an official visit, where he’ll be one of at least three offensive linemen visiting.
